Israel has engaged the ground war in northern Gaza. The current president of the European Union calls a spade a spade and sides with Israel on this action. If you read that second linked article, please note: the truth is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Even if it is icky and makes you uncoooomfortable.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said "It must be said that the ground operation entails dangers to the lives of soldiers," with which I heartily disagree. If you don't understand that a soldier runs the risk of dieing when he gears up, you aren't thinking hard enough.
Get out your popcorn folks, this is going to get interesting on Monday when the limp-wrists in France especially, and the UN in general, roll out of their mistresses' beds and get busy condemning Israel for doing what they are obliged to do.
