Everyone makes a verbal mistake every once in a while. There is really no need to continue cheapening yourselves by making fun of an obviously accidental mis-statement.
She meant to say, half-a-million.
She meant to say, five hundred thousand.
She said, 500 million.
You know what? Sometimes when my children are told to do something, and they mean to say "Yes Dad," they end up saying "Yes Mom," because they are responding to her all day and not thinking as hard as they should. Do I mock them and say there aren't that many people in the whole country?
Neither should you. It's a cheap shot. Stop it.
