Please disregard the military helicopters firing machine guns over downtown Miami (and Houston, and more to come for sure).  They are only training.  They are specifically NOT on a mission to desensitize you to seeing military helicopters firing on people in your city.

The canopy is armored but the tail rotors are not, and rotor heads probably can't take too many rifle rounds without suffering heavy damage.  A few hundred yards means several feet of bullet drop, and remember your windage.  More effective still would be a mortar round onto the helicopters when they are stationary on the ground.

"Every terrible impliment of the Soldier" includes mortars, but your government does not want you to have them.  Yes, that would be the same government currently in the process of getting you accustomed to being fired-upon by your own troops.  For your own safety, you understand.

A Little Premature

The President has given a list of outrageous demands to the Republicans with no concessions on his part, as his play in negotiating the upcoming "fiscal cliff".  The Republicans had already started talking about compromise before the Democrats even thought about coming to the table.  This will end in the age-old pattern: tax increases with no corresponding budget cuts because the cuts were put off into the future and the political cowards on Capitol Hill will not allow them to go through when the piper comes for his pay.

Today I cashed in my 401(k) account.  I am sure the President would love to convert it -today- to a government account but the Republicrats still stand in the way.  The wishy-washy Republicans that can't even make up their mind to allow a previously agreed-to bipartisan compromise to happen, when they are certain to get the blame no matter WHAT happens.

Well, my capital is flying.  Now.  Unless they make a confiscatory law retroactive to today, my money will be mine.  The gains (all the gains) my money made will be lost, but I will preserve the capital. 

The ruling elite in Germany thought they could control Hitler with the national legislature, and we all (should) know how well that came out.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I stand to lose significant capital gains, but at least I am making an effort to be prudent.

You know what counts as slander to those who were reared in schools that only teach the students the koran (like Obama went to in Indonesia)?  IF you say Mohammed is a false prophet, that is slander.  IF you say that believing in Allah will not get you to heaven that is slander.  IF you say it is true, that Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by me" then THAT is slander.

Being a Christian is slanderous against the prophet of islam, according to the prophet of islam.  Also being a jew or other non-muslim is slanderous.  Rejecting the new religion he preached is rejecting him, because that is all he was about.  That is why Mohammed led several dozen raids on caravans and neighboring villages, murdering people by their thousands and stealing their stuff - because they would not submit.

Islam is an Arabic word.  In English it means "submission." 

Muslim is an Arabic word.  In English it means "one who submits."

The President has claimed that the future belongs to those who go out in jihad against the Christians, Jews, Buddhists, etc. (non-muslims), because according to Mohammed's word AND example, that is true Islam.  He is, in fact, inciting the protesting mobs in the Middle East to riot and murder in the name of their prophet.  What is worse, if he were thinking straight, he would realize it - which is a double-edged way of saying he is not a great President.

But you are still going to vote for him because he has a D by his name.  Good job.

So, What About It, VFD?

Next February, if the Republicrats don't take the Senate and maintain the House (with decisive majorities in both) there will either be another Deem-and-Pass shenanigans sessions to un-pass Obamacare, or sometime between now and the end of 2015 somebody will die in the fight over who gets to say if individuals must buy insurance. In a gunfight. Perhaps with some of those 16,000 new IRS agents and their new sawn-off shotguns.

You can't force some people to buy bygod-ANYTHING. If you try to force them to do what they don't want to do, they will use their own force right back. Why do you think small arms have been selling better and better every year when the rest of the economy is in a Depression?

I don't want a bloody war in my United States. The way things are going, however, one can almost hear the whine of attack helicopter engines spinning up . . . to go kill some "loud people" who just refuse to pay their penalty taxes.

Transparency For Thee, but None For ME!

The morning that Attorney General Eric Holder was to testify (yesterday) before Congress, and was extremely likely to face a Contempt of Congress citation for failing to cooperate, the Department of Justice (which Holder leads) called the White House and was told they could claim Executive Privilege to prevent further disclosures in the Fast & Furious gunwalking cover-up investigation.

On Sipsey Street Irregulars, there is a report that one of the President's MOST influential advisors, who is in on literally everything important and who has the President's ear, is on paper as part of the scandal. Denis McDonough (remember that name, folks) is now outed as one of the people who heard the complaints coming in up the chain of command, that we were letting guns walk - and then the guns were still ordered to be allowed to continue walking. If this McDonough guy knew, it is very likely it was mentioned to the President face-to-face. If this guy knows the President knew, that is also possibly on paper somewhere. They don't just shred the e-mails like they used to. Somewhere, in a file or a hard drive, is a very interesting communication. But we don't get to see it (yet?).

We now have the Chief Executive claiming Executive Privilege to prevent disclosure by the Department of Justice of documents related to Operation Fast and Furious. His personal advisor is in on the Operation. We are officially ONE degree of separation from blaming the President himself for this illicit program. Conspiracy theorists may now be excused for going on and on about how the international-act-of-war-gun-smuggling-program-for-political-advantage-gone-wrong-because-it-was-found-out was truly known to Obama, if not directly his idea.

But don't be surprised.

I heard several people call in to Boortz's show today and say it (the F&F scandal) is just a conspiracy by the Republicans. A distraction.

Hold on there.

If it is a Republican invention, your boy just made a stupid move. This is the FIRST time in his entire Presidency that President Obama has invoked Executive Privilege as a reason not to have documents disclosed. But wait. Executive privilege is to protect disclosure of WHITE HOUSE communications. It is just not the way things are done, to have lower members of the Executive branch protected by Executive Privilege claims. What this privilege claim is telling the world is:

"I don't want you to know what I knew, when I knew it, and/or what I said, did, or didn't do about it. Piss off; you Republicans are not going to nail this one on me." -Barack Obama (paraphrased)

But you know what? This Privilege claim puts us only that single degree from Obama being in deep on Operation Fast and Furious. The last degree, if it can be closed, means that the President of the United States was responsible* for the illegal (by national laws on both sides and international treaty) smuggling of guns into Mexico, where hundreds or thousands of Mexican nationals were murdered. Furthermore, the drug wars were perpetuated by the use of these guns. And allowing these horrors to take place . . . was the whole reason for Operation Fast & Furious.

This is an act of war. On our nearest neighbor and one of our main trading partners. And he did it for domestic political purposes. The idea was that you would be outraged by the Mexican gun violence and demand tighter regulation of American civilian-owned guns. But then the gun smuggling (by the USA government) was found out - and then the reason for it was found out. And now we have a cover-up in progress.

THAT, friends, is why Obama doesn't want you to close that last degree of separation. This if nothing else would be an impeachable offense, if not a cause for open warfare between our nations.

Ouch.

Forward.

It focus groups well.

It is also a key word for "progressives" (a.k.a. socialist/communist/leftist) groups.

Yesterday on Wikipedia, when Boortz mentioned it, I went to wikipedia and searched for Forward. I scrolled down to politics.

Go there today, and there is a link to a "social democratic" party in Greenland called Forward. There is a link to Kadima, an Israeli leftist political party. There is a radical Russian socialist party called VPERED.

Yesterday, there was a link to Forward (generic name of socialist publications). Today, that link is gone. The article itself is being considered for deletion. In its place is a link to Forward (Obama-Biden Campaign Slogan) which has only one sentence in the entry: "On April 30th, 2012 the 2012 Obama-Biden campaign announced the slogan "Forward" " and it cites an NPR article. This one-sentence article on wikipedia is also being considered for deletion. There are valid arguments on both sides, and there is the possibility that these articles will be left or even expanded. But for today, the old link is gone and the new link is there.

N.B.: April 30th is the day before May Day, the international SOCIALIST holiday. On that day, he announced his socialist keyword/campaign slogan choice.

These things are not coincidental.

What's The Worst That Could Happen?

It is about to be legal for the Feds to come and get you, impound you, not charge, and interrogate you Guantanamo style. The President, big chiefy man-pants manly man that he is, has totally folded on his veto threat bluff.

I am reminded of a law that kills people in Houston. On certain highways at certain times of day, your car will be gone within six minutes. Tow trucks patrol the areas to keep the roads clear. Traffic moves. And a few years ago I heard of the first guy who was killed playing Frogger on a busy highway trying to get gasoline for his empty fuel tank, instead of catching a tow bill.

Sure and you're not an innocent man if you don a mask to disappear your fellow Americans . . . but eventually one of those matches is going to find a fuse, mark the words.

Previously, if you submitted a Freedom of Information Act Request "they" didn't want to answer, you would get a legalese mumbo-jumbo response about what law they were following when not giving you your information (e.g., national security prevents release). A new rule has been proposed to codify what had been a dirty-little-secret method of turning down the occasional really obnoxious request:

If they don't want to release documents under a FOIA request, under the proposed rule they could just lie and say it doesn't exist. This, of course, comes under the freedom-loving President Obama who promised to have the most open and honest and ethical and horseshitty administration ever. Oh, wait . . .

Libya Jumps to Sharia

In a move that came literally out of nowhere, the wonderful modern peaceful people who murdered Qaddafi have announced that, in his absence, they'll be going straight to Sharia as a basis for their new national legal system. You know, the philosophy from the book that says to kill the Jews, Infidels, and Hypocrites? That one.

This would be in the nation where President Obama was instrumental in the notawar that got the dictator out of power without putting official Boots on the Ground in Libya. Without sending in an army, no surprise, we did not find any weapons of mass destruction that may have been sent from Iraq when Hussein knew the jig was up. We also did not find hundreds of "missing" cruise missiles. Funny how that works: don't go in person and you miss some minor details like enough weaponry to destroy Israel.

Let's all practice our surprised faces for when the new muslim government of Libya decides to take a few pot shots at Israel. And remember to NOT be outraged if President Obama only goes as far as making angry frowny-faces at Libya, instead of . . . oh, I don't know, maybe undertaking military action for a change.

Man Is Murdered, CIA Whistles, Looks At Sky

He was captured alive and wanted for trial in the International Criminal Court. He was murdered by his captors before his trial could bring out any interesting secrets.

Street justice, or foreign intelligence agency intervention? Does your answer change when you realize there was a French fighter jet AND a United States' Predator drone flying overhead when he was captured?

Oh, and here's a fun bit of sarcastic consideration for you: We spent $1.1B and got our less-preferred head of state killed without putting any "boots on the ground." We were able to do this, because the boots worn by CIA operatives in uniform is called Tactical Footgear, 1 Each; and the footwear worn by CIA agents in deep cover in Libya are SANDALS.

Boots on the ground, if it means uniformed troops walking around, is exactly ZERO different from flying a predator drone in from Nevada. The United States, under the 'leadership' of President Obama, has committed unprovoked war against a foreign nation, and aided the murder of that nation's leader. By way of contrast, in President Bush's war, we had a straight-up war, caught the guy, then he was duly tried for his crimes and killed by his own State.

Obama Administration: Hiding Their Lies, Top-Down

Not only were they lying to you about global warming climate change, they knew they were lying, and went to such an extent to hide their lies as to make a whole separate cloud where they could exchange electronic communications in what they THOUGHT was a region beyond the scope of Freedom of Information Act requests.

They thought wrong. This is yet another huge, scandalous cover-up story for the lamestream press to ignore.

Crooked? These Guys? Never!

The Environmental Protection Agency did a bad job on the studies, had one of their cronies on the panel, failed to release the studies to the public, and then clearly failed to apply logic to their assessment of their rulings's economic impact. They were studying whether the gas you produce as you breathe out is poison. It has been declared poison, and the EPA regulates it. At the time, one man in the agency was vilified for speaking out against the scientific farce underway. Turns out he was right.

Now is the time to write your Congressman. The economy of our nation is about to be crushed under watermelon* regulations. And they are planning to do nothing about it. Congress MUST force the EPA to re-do this ridiculous study, properly. If they do that, the result must be different or there is no point in having an America anymore.

That the timing of the EPA's declaration is highly political should not be a surprise. The Obama administration is crooked as . . . well, crooked as a Chi-town politician. Sad, but not surprising.

North Carolina's (hopefully outgoing) Governess Purdue said she would like to see Congressional elections suspended so our Elected Heroes could get on with fixing the country instead of fighting during election seasons.

She forgets, perhaps, that the Congress has been totally stalled-out since the current crop of politicrats was sworn in twoanahaff years ago, and they are so deeply divided they couldn't fix their way out of a wet paper sack. Also, our country started with a war over taxation without representation and we have WAY more guns now than we did back then.

Great job, North Carolina, you elected a fool.

YOU Killed A Man

An informant was kicked out of the CIA's pool of informants for being a murderer. This means the FBI would NEVER hire the informant if they played by their own rule book. They hired him. The FBI gave him your tax dollars to buy guns for Mexican drug cartels. Three of those guns turned up at the scene of the murder of Agent Terry. One of those guns was more easily traced to this informant.

One of those guns disappeared. Guess which? To cover the tails of the people responsible for hiring this unsuitable informant, the cause of justice has been perverted by persons unknown.

Someone must go to prison, or there is no law at all in the United States of America. Possibly several someones must do very many years in prison for multiple felonies.

The cover up: blown wide open.

Interesting rumblings that an advisor to the President MAY have been personally briefed on us breaking international weapons treaties to see where the "Operation Fast & Furious" guns went. Very interesting indeed. The story has progressed from rogue agents in the BATFE, through acting Director Melson not throwing himself under the bus, to a national operation with Dept. of Justice complicity, and the FBI giving a nod to felonies being committed under the guise of an ongoing investigation. Now all the way to the White House?

The FBI is not so full of back stabbing political animals as the ATF, I understand. The FBI will lash out to protect itself, and it is possible, just possible, that they will lash all the way to a certain not-quite-round Office in the White House.

If President Obama or Secretary Clinton, or both, were complicit in these crimes, will they go to Federal PMITA Prison?

Just Putting This Out There

Trust your instincts. It works for driving, and it works for reporting.

When everyone else was ganging up on DSK for raping a hotel maid, it smelled fishy and I let it lie without comment. Now the sub-headline is she's a tool of the internationalist elite and he's being prevented by her unprosecutable charge from running for President of France. But that was a private story, then a foreigners' story.

This here is local, but it still smells off somehow. I don't know whether to believe it but wouldn't put it past the current head of State . . . and I don't know quite what to make of the story, either. I usually skim Vanderboegh's long posts if I bother with them at all, but instinct led me to read this one and glad I did. Regular readers know I almost never link something and say "Read the whole thing" but that is today's homework assignment:
