That would be the tax policy mess Obama got himself into by being an intransigent ivory tower leftist in the face of both public opinion and political reality. President Clinton is married to Secretary of State Clinton, who (as we know because she ran last time) has serious ambitions to be President, and is not getting any younger. If President Obama can be publicly made out to all and sundry as not the one who should be President next term, he may face a primary challenge from Mrs. Clinton. History lesson: incumbent Presidents in living memory do not survive primary challenges.

If Clinton can give bad enough advice that Obama can screw the country worse than he was already going to, Hillary will be the front-runner for the Democrat nomination for PotUS in 2012. Barry is a FOOL to listen to anything Bill Clinton has to say.

Clinton Announces Lawsuit Against AZ Law

. . . on ECUADORAN television. The US Secretary of State announced a HUGE DEAL lawsuit against a State which made a law because the Feds wouldn't enforce the matching national law, on a foreign national television interview. Have you heard about it anywhere but talk radio and the blogosphere?

Depending on which judge they shop this case out to, this could be a real humm-dinger, and it will certainly end up before he Supremes. If they decide the wrong way, it will be regarded in future years as one of the key incidents leading to the balkanization of the formerly-United States.

We'll see.

Make That TWO Unreasonable Refusals of Help

So says the anonymous spokeswoman for the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change. Was she talking about the Obama administration's refusal of Dutch ships equipped with oil skimming equipment on day 3 after the accident? No, she was referring to the fact that we turned down an offer of HALF of the UK's stockpiles of oil dispersant chemicals at their cost price.

So, Hillary, What do you say? Nothing. Alright then.

Bumbling Toward Korean War II

There are right and wrong ways to approach a madman with his finger on the button. Having a woman with no clue how to be a Senior Statesman -especially the woman who made it possible for Korea to become a nuclear state to begin with- talk about "serious consequences" is probably not the way. Citing undeniable proof when there is only circumstantial evidence is also not the way.

I hope to continue to believe that the people running America right now are just bumblers and generally incompetent. I can't see Hillary Clinton getting us in a war over one foreign Navy's ship being sunk, but she probably wouldn't even see it coming until we were knee-deep in (sh)it. Then again, her husband did paint our warplanes blue and bomb the heck out of Yugoslavia, so . . .

Hillary To Let Russia Examine Our Nukes.

Am I wrong to jump straight to the phallic jokes? Okay, I'll skip it; you can come up with those all by yourself anyhow.

What's the worst that could happen? I mean, we are all totally best-buds with Russia now, so why not let them in to all of our nuclear installations to locate, count, and draw "XOXO love you long time" on all our nuclear weapons?

The Washington Post repeatedly calls the legitimate actions taken by the Supreme Court and military of Honduras "a coup."

At least give them credit for a passing reference to the complete left-leaning bungling of this affair on the part of the U.S. State department: we have committed "a violation of the first law of diplomacy"

Compare the tenor of that Washington Post article with this one from The Weekly Standard, and tell me these two reporters are not playing from opposing ends of the field.

Clinton & Obama are The SAME!

Hillary Rodham Clinton is about to go into a high public office with the prospect of a legal/Constitutional crisis over her head. She has not served even one term in a national elected post and is now 100% ready to abandon that post and leave her elected office for the Governor of New York to fill via appointment. Presumably the voters that elected her will understand that a greater good is at stake (her political advancement).

Barack Hussein Obama is about to go into a high public office with the prospect of a legal/Constitutional crisis over his head. He has not served even one term in a national elected post and is now 100% ready to abandon that post and leave his elected office for the Governor of Illinois to fill via appointment. I had heard rumblings about this a week or two ago when Hillary was nominated to Secretary of State. Now it has actually hit the mainstream news media so I may as well mention it even though they are likely to get one over on you anyhow.

Step 1) The U.S. Constitution prohibits a Senator from being appointed to a civil office, if the civil office got a pay raise during the time they were serving as a Senator.

Step 2) The civil office post of the Secretary of State got a pay raise while Hillary Clinton was a Senator.

Step 3) Therefore, she is barred from serving as Secretary of State. Seems simple, right?

Hold on there.

To the Democrat party, the Constitution is a "living, breathing document" which means basically if they need it changed to suit their ends, by golly it's getting changed. So now there is a serious attempt to

CIRCUMVENT THE CONSTITUTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF A SINGLE PERSON

They literally are trying to make an end-run around the freakin' Constitution for the United States of America! What makes this shameful spectacle even worse is that the person for whom they are trying to subvert the supreme law of the Land is sitting in one of the houses of Congress that will be voting on this measure. She will be voting on her own behalf to try to bend the constitution just a little bit, just this once

For those who did better than the average bear subjected to government school "education" here is the pertinent part of the Constitution. Hair-splitters may note that this is NOT an amendment, but it was in the main body before they passed it around to the States for ratification. Article 1, Section 6 says:

"No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office."

There are more things prohibited in that section than I laid out in Step 1) above, as you can clearly see. This Section prevents shenanigans like empire and dynasty building. How? Let's say some civil office is created during the term of a Congressman, with power to do all sorts of nasty things like take over the country, when you read the fine print of the laws laying out the office's authority. Then the Congressman whose idea it was, gets himself appointed to the new office, and starts running things. Bad, right? Right, that's why the founders of our nation (who were, generally speaking, each smarter than all current members of both houses of congress put together) put it in the first Article of the Constitution.

I thought it was insulting and derogatory, as well as racist, myself but Offenses can only be taken, right? Or maybe the "white" half of Obama agreed with Biden about his "black" half. I dunno. If this 'symbolic vote' between her and Barack [Redacted] Obama (you know: racism vs. sexism as the Democrat Choice) was the final move in a masterfully played chess game. She deceived the nation into thinking Obama was the one, got him to pick a running mate that would finally sink him with the Youth Vote and then She's the Nominee and she's been spared MONTHS of SCATHING (read: true) coverage in the right-wing (read: objective) media. Not that it would help, because she almost comes pre-fisked out of the box, but still... if someone is not paying attention enough to vote Hillary in a primary, maybe the shiny bauble Obama's campaign will have kept them from paying attention to her, and they'll still Love her.

Yikes.

Remember to Vote, people. At least you can cancel out somebody else's vote for a genuine Socialist.

Hillary Is Worse Than A Liar.

So, when she said she was under sniper fire, running to cover in Bosnia, she was actually standing, smiling on a tarmac, receiving gifts from a little girl. That's not a lie. That's making stuff up, for you to buy into without asking any inconvenient questions.

Now it comes out (from a first-hand source no less), when she was 27, she was fired for unethical conduct and couldn't get a letter of recommendation. She hid evidence of a sitting president's right to council of an attorney, then wrote a brief to the effect that he didn't have the right to council. Too bad for the nation, Nixon resigned. If he hadn't, and she had submitted the brief, she would have been disbarred and we might not be in the current pickle. That, by the way, is making stuff up, for you to buy into without even the opportunity to find out the inconvenient truth.

Remember: for a Socialist, the State is the highest good. If it is good for the state (as Hillary of course would be (in her own mind anyway)) then it is good, regardless of truth or morality.

Jimmy Carter Sucks.

In 1977 U.S. President Jimuh Carter banned the recycling of commercial nuclear reactor fuel. India had nipped some from a neighbor and made a Bomb with it, and he didn't want that to happen to US reactor fuel. So he made it against the law to recycle the stuff. By the law of unintended consequences, he put containment pools in a hundred or so places in the country, holding deadly radioactive waste under water.

Ok, fine. So what?

So nobody steals radioactive waste in the country that is (arguably) one of the most anal about storage and security of it. Come on, now.

In france, something like 80% of their energy comes from nuclear power plants. Do they have these deadly dangerous containment pools? Not so much. In france they

recycle it.

something like 95% of spent fuel rods are material that can be reprocessed and put right back into a nuclear reactor. The rest is mostly isotopes of lead, cesium and strontium. Cesium and strontium have half-lives of less than 40 years, each. They are reduced to mostly harmless in relatively short order. The uranium and plutonium are what needs to be locked away for thousands and thousands of years. You know, that same uranium and plutonium which is able to be reprocessed into useful reactor fuel? Yeah, that stuff. You end up with a choice: recycle it and protect the citizenry from a little bit of crazy dangerous stuff for a few hundred years, OR don't recycle and protect the citizenry for longer than we have had recorded human civilization on this planet. Hmm.

Does it make the choice any harder when I tell you that France stores all of their Cesium and Strontium waste in Le Havre. . . in a SINGLE FRIKKEN ROOM?

Barack Hussein Obama is against Yucca Mountain. So is Hillary Rodham Clinton. So am I. Because this is about the stupidest idea EVAR! Could you imagine what would happen if somebody in government proposed that we take all the used aluminum cans in the country and bury them underground in the middle of nowhere instead of recycling them? Do you think environmentalists would go for it?

Anybody that says nuclear energy is dangerous is either a) stupid b) not paying attention c) too lazy to do 5 minutes of research online d) lieing or e) somebody with commercial interests in keeping the status quo. Allow me to make a controversial statement:

Nuclear energy is safe, environmentally friendly and nonpolluting. It is a natural process brought under control and NOT a threat to the people or environment of the U.S.A., and we should be doing more of it.

Mandatory Preschool / Day Care

So it's not enough that Hillary wants to force you at gunpoint to buy health care "insurance" from Uncle, even though you are a millionaire who is healthy as a horse.

No, she also wants to force you to put your kid in a day (don't) care center. Let's not kid ourselves here. We're not talking about pre-kindergarten, we're talking about babysitting. A 4 year old who has spent the first 3 years in day-care is going to be about as functional as a home-kept (actually day (do) care) 2 year old.

Yes every kid is different. My 4 year old is reading and my 5 year old is reading at about 2nd grade. I'm sure your snowflake is a genious as well. But I have also seen day-care centers in action, first-hand. I have heard reports of 3 year-olds in diapers in walkers, unable to speak. And we're going to put these kids in school? No, friends, pre-k for average 4 year-olds is day-care. 4 year-olds are barely kept in control by *some* parents. How do you expect some "teacher" to get a whole classroom full of babies to behave for classes all day? Not.

Nevermind all the stories of kids neglected to the point of serious injury and death. How many times have you heard about a kid left in the day-care bus and forgotten, broiled alive in the summer sun? My personal favorite was a kid left outside on the playground. Not even a toddler, a very baby. On the blacktop. In the summer. Without skin on hands and knees after crawling on the boiling-hot macadam, screaming in pain, unheard by the jerks inside who neglected to get a head-count after recess. Yeah, let my kids at 'em. Sure, your "learning center" is different. Right. Try to at least act like you care when you hear about the next kid killed or seriously injured by not-parents, when one of the parents could have foregone some "stuff" and stayed home for a few years.

Yes, yes, some people have circumstances that require the kid to be in day-care. Most don't and I'm not even going to argue with you about it. About 90% of the families with babies in day-care just want to unload the little screamers and keep working so they can have a bigger plasma TV or that next vacation. I can hear them whining already and it falls on deaf ears.

YOU can care for your children better than a day-care center can. If you had a choice, would you rather spend YOUR first 4 years with Mommy, Nanny, or Day-care worker?

THEN WHY THE **** ARE YOUR KIDS IN DAY-CARE! You only get one shot at rearing them and you're opting out. It's only a few years of sacrifice, get over yourself already.

Hillary's a communist folks. Or a socialist (even the communists have trouble keeping their name stright). She thinks your children belong to the government, or else she wouldn't have the audacity to call for them to be cared for by someone other than you.

If her "mandatory" 4 pre-k is the same kind of "mandatory" as her health care, I'm going to say it looks like she wants to steal your children from you. My wife is happy at home, training our children to be Good People. We'd rather not show them the other uses of bananas until they are old enough to understand what the banana represents, thanks. We'll teach them about having 2 mommies when they can understand that it's not the way to be 'normal'. We'll also keep them several years ahead of their peers by training them at home, or in a private school, instead of a government indoctrination center.

Re: The Photo of Obama the Evil Black African Muslim:

So Barack Hussein Obabma went to Africa and dressed like an African. So did Both Bushes and at least one notable Clinton and IIRC a Reagan. When in Rome. Everybody is saying it's an attempt at a smear from Hillary's campaign, playing the race and mooslim cards.

Hold on there.

It seems to me that this could be a net positive for Obama. He gets sympathies from people who can actually think about the context of the photo. Also, and more importantly, he has people buzzing about a non-issue. This of course means that nobody is buzzing about the more substantial reasons to be unhappy about Obama as a potential presidential candidate.

Sure somebody in the Clinton camp probably dug this up and tossed it out. Maybe even she didn't know about it in advance. I'm just saying, if we never find out who and why exactly the image came out, it could as easily be from the Obama campaign.
