Happy Juneteenth From Your Local Racist

First thing this morning at work, I put "HAPPY JUNETEENTH" on the bulletin board by the time clock at work. Later I went and fancied it up with a couple of different colors.

Later yet, the most worry-wart-ish of the guys who works with me said it was a good thing I didn't put that on the board at a bigger company. Somebody might get offended. I asked him if he had a problem with Juneteenth and the reasoning was more along the lines of no, I am too light-skinded to be celebrating the day.

You know what? This is NOT a holiday for "those people," unless you mean "those people who also have a human genotype encoded in their DNA." Juneteenth should appeal to all men everywhere who love liberty and justice. Brown or not . . .

Al Sharpton Goes Home in 3..2..

It was okay for George Zimmerman's dad to say Zimmerman is Hispanic. You can still rile up the useful idiots at a racist rally against a white hispanic. But now Zimmerman's mother has said her grandfather was black. This, of course, makes white-hispanic George a BLACK-white-hispanic. Now we have come full circle and this is "only" a black man killing a black man, and THAT my friends is nothing to get excited over.

Because, after all, almost every black man that is killed in America, is killed by another black man . . . and nobody seems to care that inner-city-black culture is broken so badly that this is a non-story. At least, they don't care enough to take meaningful steps to fix it. Lots of same-old not-working government program money being thrown around, sure, but I don't remember the last Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson conference on The Importance Real Fatherhood Instead of Being a Babymakin Hood Rat. But then I'm a white hispanic too, so what do I know about being Black In America? I mean, just looking at what doesn't work for white folk and seeing it not working for black folk is faulty logic, right?

Or are we all just people after all? Maybe, just maybe, George Zimmerman is an American, and Trayvon Martin was an American, and it doesn't matter what color you are when your skull is being bounced off the pavement . . . and it doesn't matter what color you are when your babydaddy is gone with the wind.

We don't need to have a new American conversation on Race. We need to tell the race pimps to sit down and shut the hell up and everybody else just IGNORE whatever color your neighbor might happen to be. If you want the black-on-black violence epidemic to end, you need the black FAMILY to be fixed. The way to have a culture full of young men who are respectful, peaceable, and generally not out killing each other over bad drug deals is to have a MAN (not just a male, a full MAN) and a woman -a family- rearing children, teaching them the right thing to do. With something like 3/4 of the black babies in America born out of wedlock, this is not happening nearly enough. We have had several generations of American black children lacking the proper guidance and leadership to become good citizens living the peaceful, prosperous (read with a sneer, "white") lifestyle.

There is no way to fix this - but that should not stop anyone from trying. If an attempt is to be made, we need a few more Bill Cosby types to show the way, and we need them at the highest levels of government, in the schools, and on the street. Big Brothers/Big Sisters is a great thing, but one-at-a-time is too slow to overcome a 3/4 illegitimacy rate and 50% dropout rate. Black culture is very badly broken and I am afraid there are not enough MEN who happen to be both black AND natural leaders who will bear the standard to the youth.

Don't get too high on your horse there white (and other color) people. Your statistics aren't looking so great either. You wouldn't be so happy about your demographics if you didn't have the absolutely-terrible numbers from the black culture to feel relatively good about.

just remember:

• He was shot by what people in East Texas would refer to as a "mexican" = decidedly NOT white!
• He was beating the shit out of the guy who shot him, when he was shot
• The guy receiving the beating was the one screaming like a little girl on the recording
• The guy giving the beating is was a 6'2" football player one year from being a legal adult

But these true facts do not fit the narrative. Oh well, report the narrative anyway and publish old pictures to make it look like a white-on-black man-kills-innocent-boy situation!

Here's A Better Idea

The Legislature in Texas gerrymandered a new redistricting map that would likely give Republicans an advantage. Then a lefty court said that was raaaaaaacist and gerrymandered an entirely new map that would give Democrats an advantage. Then the lawsuit.

The supreme Court just slapped the San Antonio map drawing court on the pee-pee and said they have to START with the map made by our Elected Heroes in Austin, and then make it more legal-ish. All this, of course, because Texas might be raaaaaaaacist. After all, according to the leftists who prefer Democrats to be elected bureaucrats in the federal Department of "Justice" Texas has been raaaaacist before and might still be raaaacist by making maps that don't fairly give BROWN PEOPLE adequate representation.

Well guess what: It's 2012. The only people still worried about whether or not BROWN PEOPLE get adequate representation are STUPID OR CROOKED OR BOTH. There is no more institutional racism in the day in which we live. Get over yourselves and your stupid race hustling race pimps.

My preference: on every official form that currently has a spot for race/ethnicity, we delete that spot on the form. The datum is irrelevant to anything except getting Democrats in office and/or keeping them in power. For Congressional district maps, we make them make sense when you look at a map, with pretty close to equal population in each district. That means probably a couple of guys from Houston, Austin, and Dallas get elected as Democrats and most of the rest of the State is Republican because the rest of the state is flyover country hicks who vote republican. What does this mean in picture form?

Racist Jokes are Good for Society

Tonight we were at a little boy's birthday party. They had Ritz crackers and chicken salad to spread on the crackers, pretzels, and a two-cookies-thick cookie cake. Rather light on sustenance for a Mexican get together but this is a white-as-rice family and the lack of enough food to get full off of is not unusual. Still, people gotta eat.

I was at the bar loading down a Ritz with some chicken salad, with my arm extended about shoulder-high manipulating the salad serving spoon. A lady (who like me was at the party mostly as a child delivery mechanism) came to get some food. This is a black lady who is a friend of my family's. The room was loud and she quietly said something about getting some crackers as she reached under my arm to the cracker plate.

Lady: (mumble mumble) crackers...
VFD: What did you call me?
Lady: LOL No yew di'int!
VFD: LOL

And right there I reminded both of us that we are "fed with the same food" and "if you prick us, do we not bleed?"

When you get a chance to make people laugh at the obvious non-differences between the "races" of men, you further the cause of world peace. For the sake of humanity, make (well-meaning) racist jokes!

Oh, Those Pesky Young People!

One TV station wouldn't report on the colors involved in yet another day of roaming bands of black people beating random white people leaving a State Fair in America. It would be racist, to report the actual news!

And from London I note a distinct lack of identity in the reported young people rioting in such numbers as to overwhelm local police . . . but they are sometimes reported as "ethnic minority" or even (gasp!) black.

WTH black people? Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? I wouldn't expect the President to decry such behaviour because his TelePrompTer hasn't told him about it yet, but at least prominent race baiters "black leadership" should stand up and say knock it off. Then again, one would have expected moderate muslim leadership to decry 9/11 and 7/7 but look how that went.

Racism And Christianity: Not Compatible.

I caught flak for telling The City on an Official Form that my "race" is Human. I changed it to reflect my skin color, though that is arguably inaccurate (if you look at my grandparents' skin color and national origins). Down on the inside, I stand by the original entry on the form. Because I believe what my Bible tells me:

"God ... giveth to all life, and breath, ... And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth"

Black man? My brother
Brown man? My brother
Yellow man? My brother
White man? My brother

Trace that family tree back far enough and you end up with the same mother and father for all of us. Geographic necessity may have caused some minor variations to help us adapt to our surroundings, but when you cut our throats we all gush the same red blood.

So if you say something bad about the ever-hated Jew because his "ethnicity" is marked on the form as Jewish, you are a dumb ass and really ought to spend more quality time in your Bible. If you look down on the black man, or say the white man is out to get you, ditto. Excuse me if I do not share your enthusiasm on the subject.

Now, if you say that a culture which denigrates women and promotes fatherlessness, drug use/abuse/dealing, crime, and the like is of equal value to a culture which elevates women and motherhood, values the two-parent (opposite sex) married family foundation, discourages drug use and frowns on crime, you are a fool. And probably a government-educated fool at that.

Because Those People Are Inferior, You See

The same court that upheld the ability for the Federal government to force you at gunpoint to buy health care payment insurance has handed down another humm-dinger.

The people of Michigan passed a law that said they won't discriminate against, or show favoritism toward, protected classes - including "minority" ethnicities. That is, we won't grant contracts for road projects to you because you are a hispanic woman owned business, and we won't count it against you when you apply to college because you are a white man.

The court has ruled that this puts minorities at a disadvantage. Because, we can only suppose, those people are not as able as the rest of us to do (fill in the blank) without the almighty government helping them out. They just couldn't do it without us, don't you see?

This is racism, plain and simple. The days when "affirmative action" had arguable merit in the United States are past.

A couple of random Chinese tourists were walking around in UK and heard sumdood singing Kung Fu Fighting in a pub. They were offended at this blatant racism, summoned the Police, and the singer was arrested.

Superman (the comic book hero) says (in the cartoon) he's tired of being perceived as a tool of the government and renounces his US Citizenship

A surgeon at the top of his field (President of the American College of Surgeons, inventor, super-genius and possibly a huge stud) makes a passing reference to a scientific study and is forced to resign. The study says having unprotected sex makes women less depressed, and is Actual Legitimate Science, but apparently the chicks at Surgery News need to [content redacted] a little more and maybe lighten up a little. Bonus points to this story for legitimate use of the term richly vascularized vagina

Austin Police Are Racist

Austin cops are racist against black people and use excessive force and police brutality more on the East side. Austin police are corrupt straight up to Chief Acevedo. Furthermore, El Paso P.D. is racist against mexicans & latinos.

The above sentiments have been expressed to me in all seriousness by multiple people in regular conversations. These people tend not to be police or have regular dealings with the law. This post was inspired by my Darling Wife, who was one of them!

She had a relative arrested recently, and passed on the sentiments of her family in El Paso that the Police probably leaned harder on this guy because he's brown. I tried to be gentle when I reminded her that she, her mother, her sister, her brothers, etc., were not present at the time of arrest. That her relative was drunk, driving on a suspended license, and has a history of a bad attitude to boot.

Here is my experience: people like to take the part of people in their group. (insert your minority class here) of a certain stripe get all upset when one of "their own" gets less than 5-star hotel service from the Police. They conveniently overlook the criminal behavior of their fellow (insert your minority class here) and exaggerate the actions of the police.

Examples?

As above:
Family perspective: A man was arrested and his family "HAD TO" pay to get his car out of impound and him out on bond. This is because the cops are racist and they would have let a white man go free. They could have got the car going eventually.
Police perspective: A man was discovered in a car stopped on the side of the road. The man has a history of DUI and appeared to be intoxicated (arrestable offense #1). He was the sole occupant of the car, and must have been driving. His license is suspended (arrestable offense #2). The car was disabled. He was taken into custody and the disabled car was towed from the scene. He was released on bond to his own recognizance.
Reality interjects: The man has no jobby-job and would lose nothing financially to stay in jail until his hearing. His car would have been towed anyway, and it was a traffic hazard. He was drunk and didn't have a license or insurance.

Another, locally:
East Side Perspective: A woman was shot by the police just because she was black, and fighting with somebody else. They wouldn't have shot a white lady!
Police perspective: Officers arrived at the scene of a fight between two females. One female was on her back on the ground, the other was kneeling over her. The woman on top had a knife and appeared ready to murder the unarmed woman on the ground. Police warned the knife-wielding woman to drop the weapon. When she moved to stab the woman on the ground, they fired several shots and she was hit. She died of her injuries.
Reality interjects: Being stabbed with a knife is FIVE TIMES as deadly as being shot. A knife is more effective than a gun within its operating range, and the officers knew that. There was no time to disarm the woman; the only choice was to prevent her committing murder by disrupting her central nervous system. This disruption is unfortunately permanent.

As to the charge of corruption, I have only heard it expressed by people who are, shall I say, not exactly aware of all the reasons and methods behind police doing some of the things they do. Perhaps there is a tendency to believe Alex Jones more than Sergeant Jones? I have had limited contact with police during my sojourn here. Every officer I have met (a dozen or so) was the essence of calm professionalism, with a [deleted] good reason for doing and saying what he did. A very few cases of individual bad cops have been reported, and those were dealt with appropriately. Absent some pretty amazing proof, I am going to have to relegate people who charge APD with being a corrupt institution to the "loony" side of the spectrum.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger has been pissing off radical feminists by speaking truth to Anonymous for thirty years. She has said many.many.many controversial things, including things that are only controversial because people are too seeeeensitive to which particular words come out of someone's mouth, regardless of content or intent.

Dr. Laura is white as a bedsheet in a blizzard, and she is currently being criticized by racists who are typically the color of mud, because she did something forbidden. She, being white, said "nigger nigger nigger" as part of an illustration that you can find black people on cable television shows saying nigger to/at/about each other all the time. One of my most favoritest examples of this is the rap group "Niggaz With Attitude" who had a hit song about how the singer is a nigger for life.

To be clear: Dr. Laura was entirely correct, and the point she made is valid. The problem she has is two-fold. She, being white, is not entitled to say "nigger", according to people who think it is a word only available to black people. This is BULLSHIT. If you can say nigger, I can say nigger. If I can't say nigger, you can't say nigger. I suppose nigger must be added to George Carlin's list of seven words you can't say on the air: shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits (as amended to include twat).

This is the real world, and we are adults. This is not the second grade. Must we really say "The N-Word" instead of "Nigger?" Fuck no. Fuckin' say nigger all you want, I don't give a shit. People get hung up on words. Not the content of the words. Not the context of the words. Not the intent of the speaker. The actual words themselves trip people up. This is stupid.

If Dr. Laura lets some retard nigger cunt's phone call drive her off the air, she's a dumbass bitch. Fuck her if she's too much of a damn coward to stand up for herself. The first amendment was written to protect unpopular speech. Dr. Laura claims she wants to retain her first amendment rights, but she is not being censored by the government. She is not being forced out by her bosses, either, unless the whole story is not being told. She is afraid of herself. She is taking the coward's way out, in my opinion - someone got all butthurt, and now she' quitting. Al Sharpton (who is himself a race hustler) said, "If I were her I would not want to leave with this legacy" (...but...). He says he doesn't think anyone should use 'the N-word,' black or white. I agree, for once, with Al Sharpton.

The only upside of this whole flapdoodle is that the national discussion of race which Eric Holder accuses us of being too cowardly to have, may be in the offing. Good. Let's talk about race. Then at the end of the day, I will go home to my Mexican wife, LB will go home to his black wife, and you will go home and realize "hey, this is a bunch of fucking bullshit. How about we just drop the whole god-damned subject and treat people like fucking people, according to the content of their character instead of the color of their skin?"

That said, 30 years is a pretty good run on a single-topic radio show. She can retire (and stay rich) when she feels like it. But to allow racist pressure groups to force her off the air as a result of a single radio call-in show's caller getting sideways over a single word, is stupid. She said the next day that it (saying nigger) was the wrong thing to do (say) because people were hurt by what she said. Well listen missy, what you said and how people feel are not necessarily related. You can tell (click the CNN link and listen to the sound bytes) that the caller completely shut off what Dr. Laura was saying because of one word she used. All thought was cut off and pure reactionary emotion came into play. She was offeeeeended because Dr. Laura said "nigger". If the woman caller were to use logic and reason *cough* she would have seen that Dr. Laura was using a word in a context which should not be offensive, as part of an intellectual discussion. Dr. Laura's mistake was assuming that this female caller had the intellectual capacity to get past a single word, and actually think about the words before and after it.

No, the real reason she must be forced off the air is because she has officially crossed the line. She called out the people who voted for the Dear President.

without giving much thought, a lot of blacks voted for Obama simply 'cause he was half-black. Didn't matter what he was gonna do in office, it was a black thing.

AND she called out the self-hating, non-thinking liberals, including those working in the mass news outlets. She called them right out and nailed them to the wall, and didn't even refer to a single one of them to do it. They KNOW what she meant, and it pissed them off so this story gets coverage.

SCHLESSINGER: Yeah. We've got a black man as president, and we have more complaining about racism than ever. I mean, I think that's hilarious.

CALLER: But I think, honestly, 'cause there's more white people afraid of a black man taking over the nation.

SCHLESSINGER: They're afraid.

CALLER: If you want to be honest about it ...

SCHLESSINGER: Dear, they voted him in. Only 12 percent of the population's black. Whites voted him in.

You are NOT allowed to criticize the Dear President! More importantly, you are NOT allowed to say that he was elected by white people because he was black! It does not matter that what she said, in context, was not about the Dear President or his ignoramus voting base. She must go.

So they win. She caved immediately and announced she would not be renewing her contract. If this is her idea, she is the real loser in all this.

Listening Between The Lines:

I don't watch TV but my talking heads play the sound bytes for me, and I heard all of the following with my own two ears. If you listened closely to the interview the President just gave to a woman's gab show on national television, you heard:

He completely dodged the question "is America a racist country?"

He admitted people in his administration moved too quickly to fire Sherrod*.

Amusingly, he had an old fashioned Freudian slip and admitted that he and his wife have sub-optimal attitudes when it comes to race relations in America.

ETA: oh, he also called blacks "a mongrel people" which would be political death to any lighter-colored person. But they elected him for being black, and he likely can say anything the rappers say (hint: mongrel is mild in comparison) and still get a bunch of racist blacks to vote for his skin color.

That would be the same Sherrod who was appointed to a high position in the USDA by the administration of The Obama after a racist lawsuit against the USDA. The one who said Breitbart wants us to go back to the times of slavery, and that he has never tried, and is not interested in getting past black vs. white, unlike her. Because she is an expert on Breitbart even though she never heard of him before two weeks ago. The Sherrod who is suing Breitbart for libel for using her own words as a public servant. That Sherrod is the one to whom I refer, in case you had any doubt.

New Phrase: Van Jonesed

When someone is known to be a kook, but they keep it out of the public eye, they are tolerated and/or celebrated in positions of power. When someone is EXPOSED as a kook, and then public outcry causes them to be fired, they are said to have been Van Jonesed.

The firing was reported to be in accordance with the will of The Obama. Now Gibbs has apologized to her, and she has accepted. The secretary of agriculture has asked for her forgiveness and offered her another job. The forgiveness she grants, the job she is pondering.

Should she have been pressured to resign? Maybe not, as it turns out.
Should she have held that position in the first place? No.

Shirley Sherrod: Say Hi To Obama Grandmamma Under The Bus!

Shirley Sherrod is a racist. She is also black. Until not-so many hours ago, she was a mid-level functionary in the Department of Agriculture under Obama. Having made the grave mistake of being caught on film saying blatantly racist things (which are also admissions of dereliction of duty) she has been thrown under the bus. I hope she enjoys spending time with President Obama's "typical white" grandmother down there.

A Racist In Every Face A Racist Sees

Stepdad goes to park to take AWOL teenaged stepdaughter home

Stepdad gets in oral confrontation with punk friend of stepdaughter

Stepdad receives phone call asking where he lives, and then a threat that whoever opened his front door would be shot

Pounding on front door ensues shortly, with a half-dozen church choir boys   perfect angels   boys with promising futures  [deleted] THUGS talking about killing Stepdad outside the house

Stepdad fires 15 shots THROUGH the front door to scare off the door pounders.

One of the pounders is pronounced DOA at an area hospital.

Stepdad faces felony manslaughter charges.

This looks like it was a Bad Shoot. Bad situation also, sure, and I'd probably give him a no-bill and then a lecture on The Four Rules, but it's still a Bad Shoot.

Stepdad should have called the cops at least twice during the above sequence. Probably also should have left Stepdaughter's mom alone to begin with. Now he's in a heap of trouble. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that because the News hasn't said, and judging from the decedent's name and the skin color of the shooter (victim) whose photograph was published, all the idiots pounding on this poor man's door were likely BLACK. Yes BLACK. It's racist, I know. I'm a horrible racist for pointing out once again that in some places there is a horrible systemic problem in American black culture. You go ahead and tell me Daquan Wilson had a good, loving relationship with a father who is a well-rounded individual himself, and I'll show you a bridge I happen to have for sale.

Note to the family and friends of the decedent: your boy was a piece of [deleted] and the world is very likely better off without him. Seriously. Who goes threatening to kill their girlfriend's stepdad in his own home, and is not simultaneously a worthless piece of trash? Hmm? What, because you personally liked him he was a Good Person who should not be shot when he is pounding on a man's door threatening to kill him? No, he's a Goblin.

Unabated Insanity Update

I dropped completely off the grid there for a couple of days, maintaining physical security of #4 in a hospital without an internet cafe or radios in the rooms. I took a quick drive to get some baby stuff, and in 2 minutes' listening to the radio I heard:

Bill Clinton completely excused Robert Bird for being a Klansman, because that's just what one had to do in order to be elected in those days. Then he went on doing great things for the People like opposing civil rights and bankrupting the country. Yeah, great, thanks. . . . and good riddance.

Congress may not pass a budget for the next year. They don't want to have an open discussion of the type a bill would receive, because then you would know how much of a train wreck Obama has made of our national economy. Instead it is rumored they may "deem" a budget passed. Sure, why not.

Also in the "sure why not" category: 52% of the bailout money has not been spent. They were saving it for what, Christmas? The Democrats have repeatedly refused to spend this money on extensions of unemployment benefits, and now comes word they may try to bail out the State budgets (read: state UNION budgets) with the bailout money. Quite literally robbing private taxpayers to pay exorbitant union obligations during an economic depression.

If you voted for Obama just remember: the mid-term elections for Democrats will be held December 1st, 2010.

How Not To Be A Racist

#1 has a spot on her face that I noticed just now, which is lighter than the rest of the surrounding skin. I mentioned it to her, and she speculated it might be where VFDKitty had licked her. I told her it didn't matter. She was giving me a hug, with her little head on my left shoulder . . .

VFD: Because, do you know what the color of someone's skin tells you about them?

VFD: It tells you what color their skin is, that's all!

Well, That Was Fast

Over the weekend, Helen Thomas' professional life fell apart. Today she 'resigned' and (I hope) she'll be hard-pressed to find anyone who will publish her work under her name. That's what you get for saying on TV what people usually only say at Klan rallies.

This is what is referred to as 'being hit with a clue bat' and it couldn't happen to a more deserving individual.
