Next time someone suggests I go on food stamps or WIC to pay for my child-rearing expenses, I break out my pistol and put it to their head:
VFD: GIMME ALL YO MUNNY FOO!
Them: WTF?!
VFD: LOL just kidding, but why is it better when the State does it?

That is unfortunately going to have to be merely interesting trivia. My project list is about a mile and half longer than my free-time calendar these days :( Even doing something special with the family takes at least a couple weeks' notice!
